Harvest Prayer Ministries (HPM) is committed to the privacy of those who visit the 40 Days of Prayer Church Initiative (40 Days) website, purchase resources or make a donation – either online or through the mail. 

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the proper use of information, we have set up appropriate physical, electronic and administrative procedures so that the information we collect from you is secure.

The following information will help you understand what kinds of information we may gather when you visit the HPM website, how we may use that information and how you can respond.

There are five ways we collect information from visitors to the HPM website:

1. Online requests for more information, such as when you subscribe to the HPM enewsletters or send an email requesting information or asking a question.
2. Accessing free downloads of HPM/40 Days resources.
3. Online purchase of HPM/40 Days resources.
4. Online registration for HPM/40 Days related events.
5. Online donations.

While you may not be asked to provide all information in each of the above situations, we may request the following: name, ministry name (if applicable), street address, city, state, ZIP/postal code, telephone number and email. When making an online donation, registering for an event, or purchasing a resource, you will also be asked your credit card name, card number and expiration date. 

In order to better serve you, at certain times, we may also ask you to provide us with information on how you prefer to be contacted and information related to your interests and personal demographics. 

If you send an email to HPM/40 Days asking a question or requesting information, your email may be forwarded to someone either at HPM/40 Days or outside of HPM/40 days who may be able to provide you with the information you request. 

We do not share personally identifiable information about you with others (such as your name, address and/or email address) except as noted above. Personal information may be stored and used internally to provide the services you have expressly requested.  We will only release personal information when we believe that release is appropriate to comply with law or to protect the rights, property or safety of Harvest Prayer Ministries or 40 Days of Prayer Church Initiative, its staff, our partners or others.

The HPM/40 Days website uses log files to track trends and improve user experience. This data is not linked to personally identifiable information.

Online donations to HPM/40 Days use Internet Encryption Software, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Protocol provided to us by PayPal.  Personal information entered online is encrypted, sent over the public Internet in encrypted form and then un-encrypted at our server.  When HPM/40 Days receives credit card information, it is accessible only to a small number of trusted employees who have been trained in how to process this information. 

Harvest Prayer Ministries and the 40 Days of Prayer Church Initiative reserves the right to change or update this privacy policy at any time by posting notice of the change or update on this website.
